The Guest List: Zamali’s ‘Funky Beat Mix’
I’m very pleased to kick off a new phase in the life of The Right Side Of Funky. There are some pretty amazing things to come in the form of guest mixes, guest posts and some choice question and answer snippets from some prestigious talents under the banner ‘20 Questions You Didn’t Know You Wanted To Ask…’ (any question ideas will be gratefully recieved). I have to thank Dave over at Planet Mondo for some much needed inspiration in all this and expect to see a spectacularly funky mix of his own appear on this very page in the not too distant future (thanks for the guest list angle too Dave). Some of my favourite fellow bloggers are on board as well as some fine and funky musician types! All exciting stuff I hope you’ll agree. A similar new phase will be running over on Here Comes The Nice so keep checking in to see whats happening and who’s dropped by!
Straight out of the starting blocks is Belgium’s Zamali. And first and foremost I’d like to say a big thank you. It’s a funky beat mix thats bang on it. Zamali’s 45’s are well worth checking out if you aren’t familiar with his output. A man who likes to let the music speak for itself, Im sure you are gonna dig it. Inspiring stuff and a full speed launch for the guest list series. Check out some more of his mixes here on myspace.
